The MENTOR.
Sparking the Passion for Grappling, Fitness and Life.
Brandon has lived in Guam with his wife Jessica and son Atreyu for the past 3 years. Although he has a demanding travel and production schedule, Brandon has grand plans to get the children of Guam in the best physical shape and on a path of better health and nutrition.
Brandon is working with his team to conduct grappling clinics in Guam’s public schools to share his passion for his beloved sport and to get kids moving.
Brandon is also resurrecting “Grapplers Quest,” the original amateur and professional submission, grappling and Jiu Jitsu tournament credited for launching the careers of many MMA superstars including BJ Penn, Matt Hughes, Diego Sanchez and Brandon Vera, himself.
After a 3-year hiatus due to the pandemic, “GQ” will make its debut on Guam in January 27 & 28, 2024, at the University of Guam Calvo Fieldhouse with hundreds of participants from all over the world competing in front of a capacity crowd.
As if Brandon Vera didn’t have enough to keep him occupied, he will soon be the star of his own podcast called VERAfied, where he will share his opinions on everything from the state of our Nation’s economy to the current state of MMA. And he has a lot to say!
